Privacy Policy

The short version

• The people and dates you add live on your phone.
• To remind you when the app is closed, our reminder service keeps a small record per reminder (the name you saved, the day and its label, your push token, your timezone, an app identifier), used only to send your reminder.
• When you send a flower, your gift note, your sign-off, and the recipient's first name travel with the gift so its web page can greet them; they are stored only with that gift link.
• We measure how the app is used (screens and actions) through Google Analytics, tied to an app identifier, never names, notes, or messages.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps.

What stays on your phone

The people you add, their relationship labels, and their dates live on your device, in the app's local storage. We do not upload your list of people for the app to work.

What the reminder service holds

So a reminder can reach you when the app is closed, our reminder service keeps a small record for each reminder: the name you saved, the day and its label, your device's push token, your timezone, and an app identifier. It is used only to send your reminder. It is never sold or shared for advertising. You can remove it at any time (see "Deleting your data").

What travels with a gift

When you make a flower, your flower choices are sent to our server, which asks Google's image service to paint the image from those choices alone. Your gift note, your sign-off, and the recipient's first name travel with the gift so its web page can show them; they are stored only with that gift link, and older unopened gift links are removed as new ones make room. The first time a gift is opened, we notify the sender that it arrived; we collect nothing about the person who opened it.

How we measure

We use Google Analytics to count how the app is used: screens opened, flowers made, gifts opened, purchases completed. These events carry an app identifier and never include names, notes, messages, or the people you saved. We use no advertising identifiers and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Purchases and your account

Hearts are purchased through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see or store your card details. We use RevenueCat to manage your Hearts against an app identifier, and against your account once you choose to sign in with Google (signing in is optional; it lets your Hearts follow you to a new phone). We receive a confirmation that a purchase happened and which pack, not your payment information.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data and we show no ads. The only third parties are the ones needed to run the app: Google (Google Play billing, optional Google sign-in, the image service that paints your flower, and Google Analytics), RevenueCat (purchase management), and Render (our server host). No one else.

Deleting your data

When you remove a person or turn off their reminders in the app, we delete the matching record from the reminder service. Reminder records with no active reminder are purged automatically after 13 months. Gift-link data is removed as older unopened links make room. For manual deletion of anything we hold, email email2nw@gmail.com.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
